What is the PES?
The Secondary Studies Program in Bioinformatics is a complementary training program designed to provide an opportunity for students and professionals to learn about the field, even if they are not part of the Bachelor's in Information Technology.
This program resembles a secondary-level education, through which students receive an advanced studies certificate in Bioinformatics.

Certification
To obtain certification in Bioinformatics, students must complete at least 420 hours of courses corresponding to the PES curriculum structure.
It is worth noting that the obtained certification is secondary only and does not count as a bachelor's or postgraduate degree.
