Department of Biochemistry and Immunology, Institute of Biological Sciences, Federal University of Minas Gerais
Research areas: We are interested in to depict the origin of genes and systems along evolution. To do that we use text-mining, orthologue clustering, taxonomic distribution of genes, gene networks, protein domains, etc. We are engaged on creating tools and databases to support the investigation.
