César Rennó Costa is currently an Adjunct Professor of Bioinformatics at the Metropole Digital Institute at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, Brazil. He has been a post-doctoral researcher at Brain Institute of the same unviersity. He was a fellow of the young talents grant from the science without borders program. He has a PhD in Computer Neursocience from the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain) in the SPECS group, under the supervision of Prof. Paul Verschure (ICREA, Barcelona, Spain) and Prof. John Lisman (Brandeis University, Waltham, MA, USA). Has a MsC from the Sate Unviersity of Campinas (UNICAMP, Campinas, Brazil) and the Industiral Automation and Computation Department (DCA, FEEC) under the supervision of Prof. Fernando Von Zuben from the LBiC Lab and Prof. Jonatas Manzolli from the NICS Lab. He is a bachelor in computer engineering from the same school with special studies in Sound Engineering. He is a collaborator in the EU projects Synthetic Forager and Goal Leaders.
